Wee Tad Rigging Instructions

Thread through the Wee Tad and tie directly to a swivel or split ring with the hook on it. For a slow troll or retrieve, use the top hole, for a fast troll or retrieve, use the bottom hole.

Stacking has proven highly effective in some areas. Two plugs are fished on the same leader, separated with a bead. (Note the toothpick jammed in the bead).

When stacking, the plugs may be separated to desired distance (1” to 4”) by moving the bead/toothpick bumper.

Plug combinations we’ve used stacked with outstanding results are:

Wee Tad & Wee Tad
Wee Tad & 3” Classic or Multi
Wee Tad & 4” Classic or Multi
Wee Tad & 5” Classic or Multi

Other combinations we’ve tried with success are the 3” with a 6” and the 3” with the 7”. The pin needs to be pulled (pulled pin method) on the 3” and it is used as the top lure instead of the Wee Tad.
