TNT Rigging Instructions |
 |
TNT's are pre-rigged with
a stainless single hook and trailing spinner blade. They’re
ready to use right out of the package. TNT's are made to have a
side-to-side, swimming action, so they should never roll.
The TNT has three holes at the front. Your leader threads through
one of these holes, and each tow hole will produce a different action
at different speeds. For a fast troll use the hole closest to the
nose, for a slow troll use the second or third hole. If rolling
ever occurs, use hole closest to nose or put on a bigger hook, which
will act as a keel to stop rolling. |

There are many types and colors of rubber
baits, such as hoochies, squirts and various twister tails, that can
be incorporated to enhance the action and look of the Tomic TNT. Simply
thread the line (which runs across the back of the TNT) through your
choice of rubber bait. The first time you see this in the water, you'll
see why we suggest you try it. |

The TNT can also be used in the place of
a flasher to enhance the action of other lures or bait. For this method
the TNT is best towed from the front hole. A bead chain tied to the
leader will eliminate any line twist. This has been very successful
with natural and artificial bait (including flies). |
